The first round of consultation was held in June 2024 and attended by 6 future students and 20 adults. The key themes that emerged were:
What works at school – Positive Relationships; Choice; Stress Reduction Strategies.
Challenges at school – Teacher Expectations; Loneliness; Inappropriate Context – Spaces / Learning Approach
Important inclusions at school – Safe and Supportive Environment; Alternative Teaching Approaches; Student-Centred Approaches
