Connections High School is a safe place to be yourself, connect with others and find your passion for learning. We understand success as self-acceptance, a love of learning, and a sense of purpose, arising from your place in our connected and inclusive community
Our school is a small-by-design, contextual wellbeing, high school, located in Belconnen, offering students in Years 7-10 an alternative, safe, learning community. The school is designed to support students with additional social and emotional needs, including neurodivergent students, and those dealing with mental health issues. With class sizes limited to only 16 students; experienced, supportive teachers; and a flexible learning approach tailored to meet the needs of individuals; we provide positive educational experiences, enabling students to learn and to thrive.
At Connections High School, we are fortunate to have a passionate and committed team who support students as they seek their own personal growth. We firmly believe that education is about creating an environment of trust and care, where we are happy to be led by our students and be there as facilitators as needed.
We are an inclusive and supportive learning community that encourages creativity, collaboration, and curiosity for both students and staff. We offer a range of skills development and mentoring opportunities, alongside the Australian Curriculum, designed to facilitate student wellbeing, social connection, academic achievement, and life readiness.
