The first round of consultation was held in June 2024 and attended by 6 future students and 20 adults. The key themes that emerged were: What works at school – Positive Relationships; Choice; Stress Reduction Strategies. Challenges at school – Teacher Expectations; Loneliness; Inappropriate Context – Spaces / Learning Approach Important inclusions at school – Safe and Supportive Environment; Alternative Teaching Approaches; Student-Centred Approaches If you are interested in further detail from the consultation please see below. We will be holding further focus groups in the future. These will be advertised on both our website and through social media.
